Core insertion is cancelled at ‘Starting Vivado Shell’ step
This issue happens in Windows OS and when using Exostiv for Xilinx. If this happens, please check the following:
– Does your user name / account name has spaces in it? (example: “John Doe”, instead of “JohnDoe” or “John”).
– Does your user directory have spaces in it. Your user directory is by default: C:\User\
The spaces in the directory can be an issue when sending scripts to Vivado – which Exostiv Dashboard software does.
We are working on it and should overcome this issue in a future release (at the time of this article, the latest version is 1.9.1).
As a work-around solution: please create another user account and log into this account for using Exostiv Dashboard software.
